NAME:
Mary Hanna
PONY CLUB YOU STARTED AT: Glenelg Pony Club
HISTORY: Mary Hanna was born into a very horsey family, in the Western District
of Victoria. Mary holds a bachelor of teaching and gives much of her time in the
sport as an A level judge, NCAS Level II Dressage instructor and has also been
an international Eventing judge from which she is now retried. Mary was originally
an eventing rider, converting to dressage in her 20s. She also competed
at state level as a pentathlete before committing to equestrian events and enjoys
snow skiing, bridge and painting.
YOUR
FIRST PONY: A little wicked grey pony called Satin (he actually should have
been called Satan!).
FAVORITE
HORSE NAME: ld Pardon, Nimbo who took me to 2 Olympics and the list goes on.
All my horses are equal favourites of mine for many different reasons..
YOUR
FAVORITE FEED: HYGAIN of course! I feed Showtorque and ICE as they suit my
individual horses needs. I also use their supplements like RBO-elite Oil,
FLEXION, REGAIN and RECUPERATE.
FAVORITE
EVENT: The most fun and exciting event I have been to has been the CDI in
Moscow. I had such great fun because it such a great event that included the Young
Horse Championships as well as the World Cup Final. It is probably very similar
to Melbournes Dressage with the Stars.
THE
ONE THING YOU REALLY WANT TO ACHIEVE: Long term I am looking for the 2008
Olympics in Beijing. Although short term I am focussed on the World Equestrian
Games in August 2006, Germany.
