  • Born on a horse and cattle farm, I rode prior to walking.

  • Thunder small black pony gelding

Describe your typical day?

  • Winter - All day in the barn schooling halter horse, conditioning halter horse, schooling & starting saddle horses, and doing the odd jobs of day to day running of a stable.

Any Other Pets?

  • Just the best dog in the world - Rocky

  • We have so many to choose from in this years show team, I tell you at the end of the show season.

What is your favourite Horse of all time & Why? (anyone’s)

  • Amada Shai, she was an Arabian mare I owned in Canada, she was my best teacher.

  • Pumpkin pie

  • Non alcoholic cold water, alcoholic Bacardi Rum

  • No particular, just feel good music

  • I can take or leave TV and movies

Your best horse event & Why?

  • In Australia it is either the East Coast Arabian Show or the Australian National Championships

What other hobbies do you have?

  • Baseball, cricket

Person you most admire?

  • My wife for being an industry leader but an even better mother to our two kids

What do you want to achieve in the next 5 years?

  • More international success showing and Marketing our wonderful Australian breed Arabians to the rest of the world

  • We currently use Hygain Balanced across the board to all of our horse either spelling or in training. This product has had a dramatic impact on all of our horse and allows us the flexibility in the feeding program to set it up for a large selection of horse ranging in size from pony’s to hack, foals to old veterans.
