Aspirations:

I’m sure it’s every riders dream to compete for Australia overseas and in the World Equestrian Games or in the Olympics and that would definitely by my goal. It would also be great to win the Australian Senior State titles one day.

Any major injuries:

I am happy to say I have never broken or fractured a bone in my body. I geuss that would make my most serious injury a horse bite on my right shoulder from a young ex racehorse I trained up for equestrian disciplines a couple of years ago. He managed to pick me up by the shoulder for a few seconds and I still have a scar today.

Advice for aspiring riders:

To find yourself a good coach and stick with them. I have been coached by Michelle Strapp for over 4 years now and she has been detrimental to making me into the rider I am today.

Most admired sportsperson:

Gillian Rolton because of her guts to help Australia win gold when she finished her ride in the Atlanta 1996 Olympics even though she had a broken collarbone and ribs

If you could invite 5 people

to dinner who would it be

& why:

Des Russel- because he always has something to say and makes me laugh
Edwina Alexander- because she is Australia’s no.1 Showjumping rider at the moment and it would be great to talk to her about her experiences overseas
My grandma-because I love spending time with her
The Queen-because I have always wondered what her life is really like
And my boyfriend Daniel.
